Only what you need for your baby. Really. (OK – and some fantastic things you don’t that are pretty cool.)
We are TOTALLY getting these! They’re kitchen measuring cups built like Russian nesting dolls and are $9-14 worth of awesomeness for a toddler at loose ends in the kitchen.
A while ago, it occurred to me that Astrid might like wooden nesting dolls since she likes to take things apart, but it went on the second tier of my ever-growing to-do list and the search never got off the ground. Last weekend while we were visiting my dad, Astrid discovered some nesting wooden cats and loved them. But they’re a little fragile for her since, along with taking things apart, she’s learned to throw pretty effectively. It’s a great combo if you’re aiming to take something apart by smashing it into little pieces.
When we came home and I saw these in my MUG email, I knew they were meant for us. Sweeeet! Since Astrid’s going through another, “I have to see EVERYTHING that is going on at counter height,” phase, these should help provide entertainment once she’s up there!
Update: I did get these and yes, they are cute. Not great measuring cups though – too rounded and hard to read. But yes, cute. Although these are cuter and Astrid likes them better:)
